THE FEELING
The note is just the beginning. SwaySynth gives your hands three ways to shape what follows.
LIFT / VOLUME
Hold a note and raise the phone’s top edge. Your movement shapes its volume.
ROLL / TEXTURE
Tilt toward the keyboard’s right edge to move through the sound’s texture.
FLICK / BEND
A brief sideways flick bends held synth, flute or cello notes, then springs back.
IN YOUR HANDS
One octave in portrait. Two in landscape.
Slide the range bar to put the notes you want right where you want them.
Select a key to hold a note visually, then try lift, roll or flick. Moving the range clears selected notes.
A DIFFERENT MOOD
A piano for a quiet moment. A cello for a long phrase.
Or a synth sound with a little more room to wander.
EXPLORE A STARTING POINT
Current sounds include three piano voicings, flute, cello and eight factory synth presets. The instrument library is still being refined.
A NEW WAY TO PLAY
SwaySynth is taking shape for iPhone.
A little touch. A little movement. Something that’s yours.
Start with the free piano, flute and cello keyboard. Try every synth sound, phone motion and texture for two continuous hours when you are ready. Keep the full instrument with one purchase: HK$38 in Hong Kong, with local App Store prices elsewhere. No subscription. No automatic charge.
The iPhone app is being prepared for its first App Store release. It will be available after Apple approves it.
This is a silent, visual walkthrough of the current interface. The sound engine lives in the iPhone app.
No. The current app uses touch and the phone’s motion sensors. It doesn’t record audio or require an account, and its settings stay on your device.
